Sponsoring Sanitary Pads for Girls School in Remote Region of Kenya

Sewa Kenya Coast wing received a generous donation from Amani and Million Butterflies Charity of USA. it was intended to help out needy Girl's students with reuseable Packet of sanitary pads. The team decided to help out  2 secondary girls’ school in the remote area of coast province. The sanitary pads were sourced from another NGO, Together for Better foundation, at a subsidiary rate so more Girls can benefit from the gift of packet of reusable sanitary pads. The shipment for 2 gunnies’ containing more than 200 packets of sanitary pads was done through a local transporter. On 4th June 2025, with the Volunteers from Sawa Kenya, 2 Girls Secondary school namely Bahero  and  Bamba Secondary school received the donations of the pads.  The girls’ students were also given tips on Menstrual hygiene awareness. All the recipients were full of smiles and acknowledged their gratefulness to Amani and Millions of Butterflies charity. There are over seven million artisans’ creators just in India.
